Technology Partnerships
Advertising and Sponsorships
Online. That's the way to go if you want to offer your
customers exciting, on-target marketing services. Or maybe you're thinking of
using online marketing services yourself. The result? Passing along better,
streamlined service to your customers.
If you've been contemplating how to harness the digital
world to make your business stronger, the GotMarketing.com Business Partner
program is for you. Put simply, it helps you offer more value to your customers
-- while generating an entirely new revenue stream.
Interested? Read through our Q&A below for more
information.
Are all Partners the same?
No. There are two types of business partners -- Affiliate
Partners and Value-Added Resellers. Both generate revenue, but both
are very different.
What's an Affiliate Partner?
Affiliate Partners belong to the
GotMarketing.com Affiliate Program. This program gives an easy, low-risk
way for you to offer marketing services to your Web site visitors and
customers.
How does it work? Simple. When you generate a link on your
site to GotMarketing.com -- and your visitors sign up for the helpful
GotMarketing.com services -- you automatically collect a portion of the
resulting revenue.
That's it. GotMarketing.com handles customer service,
collections and sales tracking generated by visitors from your site. We'll
provide you with the link. All you do is decide where you want to place
the link within your site -- and how many times. We take care of the rest.
What are the benefits of being an Affiliate Partner?
Read some of the benefits below:
Low risk
revenue -- GotMarketing.com takes care of customer service, collection, and reporting
•
Start earning right away -- joining is free
and there is no waiting period
•
You'll look great -- give your
customers more value with our rich content and tutorials, not to mention live
interactive Web help
•
Add value -- you'll be ahead of the
pack when you offer customers the hottest Webmarketing services available
Who should be an Affiliate Partner?
Affiliate Partners are typically
Web site companies that offer content, and goods and services to growing
businesses.
Other typical affiliates include:
•
Application service providers who
want to expand their offerings to include marketing
•
Specialty service
sites, such as PR companies, who want to add a Web-based clipping service to
their portfolio of services
•
News site
or portal companies that want to engage its readers more interactively
by offering an interactive on-going clipping service
•
Marketing services
companies who want to offer e-mail campaign services to their real-world
marketing portfolio
What's a Value Added Partner?
GotMarketing.com Value-Added Partners are focused on the
strategic side of marketing. They're companies that use GotMarketing.com
services themselves as the engine to drive a marketing program for their
clients.
Why is Value Added Important?
Everybody's talking about "Value Added" these days. And for
good reason. Study after study has shown that customers respond to the "little
extras." They stay loyal and you keep your clients happy.
Value-Added Partners (VAPs) know
this. They use GotMarketing.com services to go that extra step and make online
marketing easy for their clients.
How does it work? VAPs set up the customer's accounts, create
the campaign using GotMarketing.com services and run the marketing software for
their client. GotMarketing.com bills our VAPs for the use of the
GotMarketing.com service. The VAPs then bill their clients.
In this relationship, the VAP is the primary contact for the
end customer. They handle end user customer care and collections while
GotMarketing.com supports the VAR behind the scenes. We're working
hand-in-hand, but from your customer's point of view, it's all seamless.
Benefits to being Value-Added Partner
Here are the benefits to being a
VAP:
-
Add value to your customers -- by offering the hottest Web
services available, without an investment in software or technology
-
Simple to use -- no need to learn a complex system. A browser
is all you need
-
Pay as you go -- pay only as you use the service
-
Charge what you're worth -- charge your customers to reflect
the value of GotMarketing.com service as well as your additional value
Who should be a Value-Added Partner?
Value-Added Partners are typically companies who already
offer some form of marketing services to their clients -- and want to expand
these services to include offerings such as e-mail campaign services or Web
clipping services.
Our VAPs include:
-
PR agencies
-
High end information site companies
-
Advertising companies
-
Other service-based companies that already offer traditional
campaign services and want to expand to e-mail

1.2 Content
Partnerships
Everybody thinks they're expert about something -- and
chances are, you are! If you know marketing and you like to write, we can make
your content available to our membership and visitors. This is a great way to
market yourself (subtly of course) as an expert in your field.
In GotExperts, (Links to GotExperts) your marketing
expertise source on the Web, we profile selected articles each month with full
attribution to the authors and their companies. We also run selected articles
in our monthly newsletter, GotSplash. (Links to a GotSplash newsletter)
(I deleted example because it will have
to change often to keep current -- better if the readers can simply link
directly to the GotExperts and GotSplash.)
Subhead: Content
Guidelines
Of course, in the name of quality and consistency, we ask
you to follow these directions:
1)
Articles should be informative and written with a direct
and informal, but not overly casual, style.
2)
They should reflect the GotMarketing.com primary brand
attribute, which is being known as, "trusted marketing experts" and
secondary brand attributes, which are "cool, clever and creative."
3)
Articles are not advertisements for products or
services. A paragraph of corporate information is permitted at the end,
however.
4)
All content will be edited if necessary by
GotMarketing.com. When you send an article to be published, please be advised
that you are giving us permission to edit it.
5)
Articles should be either 800 to 1,200 words in
length or 1,400 to 1,800 words.
6)
We want to offer our readers informative and exciting
articles that will "pull them in." That means sticking to a proven formula.
Articles most likely to be accepted include anything that is: "in a 10 Best
things" format, a "How-to" article, a review of a marketing
product or service, or a case study.
To submit an article for publication, please send it in Word
or plain text embedded in the e-mail to GotContent@GotMarketing.com
-- and don't forget to include your name, title, company name and address.
1.3 Technology
Partnerships
We're always interested in technology that will help us
offer the latest and best online marketing services.
Our rules are simple:
1)
The Technology must deliver value to marketing
applications.
2)
It must be Web-enabled.
3)
It must use open standard technology for data
interchange, i.e.: XML.
4)
It must be configurable for seamless integration,
i.e.: re-branded, autopopulated with our data.
5)
It must support full SQL database access, preferably
Oracle.
If you have something you think would add value to
GotMarketing.com services or enable us to create a new one, send us a
description at mailto:GotTechnology@GotMarketing.com
Please be patient after you have sent us your ideas. It
takes time to go through all the information people send us, but rest assured --
we will get back to you.
1.4 Advertising
and Sponsorships
Advertising and sponsorship opportunities are on their way!
We've been so busy offering our customers the best possible service that we
haven't yet formalized our plans for advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
But we do know that our membership is very targeted --
marketers, in companies of all sizes, shapes and industries. But not just any
marketers. Our marketers are all interested in Web marketing.
Between sponsoring a service, running banner ads or
advertising in our GotSplash Link newsletter, the opportunities are rich,
but not yet defined.
